Solar cooking for everyone
This is one part of a serie of albums of conical ground cookers. I called them Ground Cookers, because they rest on the ground or closed to the ground supported by a little stand for tilting purposes. Many of the photos in this series also show clearly how the sun reflects in the parabolic structure. I think it is most convinient to bring food in at the center or the base of the parabol. This hole was originally meant for tilting, but I found it could also be used to bring in the hotpot with the glass lid. This is resting on a pice that can be adjusted or pulled out. In this album you find several different variations based on the same model. The main difference is how I have made the cut of the parabolic reflector shape. Make also sure to check out the other album in this series that show the conical consept of this model. he Album is called 8 Cones Conical cooker.
